International Media Award Frankfurt 2010

Presented by Frankfurter PresseClub e.V., the International Media Award Frankfurt is the most prestigious media award in the Rhine-Main region. It recognizes all forms of outstanding journalism work covering Frankfurt and/or the Rhine-Main region, from exciting reportages and critical reports to emotional stories or innovative formats. Participants are free to choose topics from any thematic area, ranging from politics, business and culture to sports and society. Language, style and clarity are judged along with content. The winners are selected by a high-profile panel of editors-in-chief and department heads from a number of media and agencies located in Frankfurt.

Eligibility extends to all journalists, whether based abroad or within Germany, whose print, TV, radio, online or press photography items were published in a medium (publishing period: June 15, 2008 to June 15, 2010). The International Media Award Frankfurt is endowed with a total of 10,000 euros in prize money.

The award ceremony will be held in October 2010.
